Karina is a Senior Vice President on the trends and futures team. She works directly with clients to help them answer strategic questions about the futures of their consumers, brands, categories, and companies. Karina has particular expertise in innovation and business strategy, consumer trends, and macro forces of change. She has worked on trends, futures, and innovation projects with global clients in many sectors, including Visa, HP, Kellogg, Unilever, The Coca-Cola Company, Hershey’s, Logitech, PepsiCo, Dr. Pepper Snapple, Fidelity Investments, and Aetna.
Before joining Kantar Futures, Karina directed marketing at a policy and global issues think tank, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), in Washington, D.C., where she served as an adviser to the corporate leadership team on issues of brand, outreach, management strategy and design leadership. She was involved in projects that expanded understanding of policy and global issues by exploring the important trends shaping our world. Before that, at Beach Communications in Detroit, Mich., Karina worked with clients in the financial, automotive, business-to-business, non-profit, and healthcare sectors.
Karina has an MBA from the University of Oxford, U.K., and a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
Karina has worked in Kantar Futures’ London and New York Offices and currently lives and works in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and baby boy.
